Chandapura lies on Hosur Road beyond Electronic City, and it has become villa and plotted-development country: gated communities where buyers get more land and more house than the same budget buys closer to the city. Most owners here are building or finishing a home across several floors.
We have completed two villas in the same community here: Shikha Agarwal’s villa and Annu’s villa, both at Purva Woodfield.
What the homes here actually are
Villas in gated plotted communities
Homes built on individual plots inside a gated layout, usually over two or three floors with a lift or lift provision and a partly double-height living room.
Apartments along Hosur Road and the Anekal side
2 and 3BHK flats in newer complexes, bought by families working in Electronic City, Bommasandra and Jigani.
Independent houses on private sites
Self-built houses with plans drawn by the owner’s own architect or contractor.
What that asks of the interior
Treating a tall wall as one composition
In Shikha Agarwal’s villa part of the living room is double height. Its tall wall is handled as a single design of panels, vertical fins and slim brass wall lights, and the seating sits on a raised wooden platform to define the room within the open floor.
A proper mandir
A villa has the room for one. There the mandir sits behind black-framed glass doors beside the dining area, with a fluted white back wall and a curved marble platform.
The space under and beside the stairs
Under-stair space was closed with panelled storage, and the staircase itself climbs between an exposed brick wall and a lit textured wall. Ideas for your own home are in our staircase design guide.
Utility and laundry planning
Villas have the area for a real laundry. Planning it with the plumbing keeps washing out of the balconies and bathrooms.
Coordinating with ongoing construction
Many homes here come to us before the civil work is finished. Fixing electrical points, false ceiling levels and wet-area positions at that stage avoids breaking finished work later.
Our completed homes in Chandapura
Shikha Agarwal’s villa covers the foyer and staircase, living room, dining area and mandir, an island kitchen, three bedrooms, the laundry and the bathrooms. Annu’s villa is in the same community. See more in our project portfolio.
Questions from Chandapura
Have you completed projects in Chandapura?
Yes, two villas at Purva Woodfield, both in our portfolio.
I own a plot or villa at Purva Woodfield. Can I see your work there?
The photographs of both villas are on our project pages. Call +91 88845 55998 and we will take you through them with your own plan.
Do you travel to Chandapura for site visits?
Yes. It is a direct run down Hosur Road from our HSR Layout studio.
My villa is not finished yet. Is it too early?
No. Before electrical and plumbing work is closed is the best time. Read electrical planning before interiors.
What does a villa interior cost?
It depends on area, materials and scope. Our villa interior design cost guide explains what drives it.
