A modern Indian fusion interior design for Sowmya’s two-bedroom apartment at Godrej Splendour on Belathur Main Road, Whitefield, Bengaluru. Ivory walls, warm wood and sage green carry the home, with a carved jaali partition, block-print textiles, folk art and brass accents giving it an Indian character without making it heavy.

Project overview
This Godrej Splendour 2BHK interior design covers the living and dining room, the modular kitchen, the master bedroom and the second bedroom. The home is a compact Type 1 plan, so every piece has a job: the jaali screen separates the dining corner from the entry without blocking light, and the second bedroom doubles as a study.
The style is modern Indian fusion. Clean, modern joinery and plain ivory walls set the base; Indian craft is added in layers on top, through a carved jaali partition, a cane-and-wood sofa in block-print fabric, a carved coffee table, framed folk and textile art, and brass lamps, pendants and urlis.
The kitchen keeps the same mood in a practical way, with sage-green base units, white wall units, open shelves for brass and copper ware, and a patterned tile backsplash that echoes the jaali.

Living and dining
A cane-backed sofa in ivory block-print fabric faces a carved wooden coffee table on a jute rug, with the balcony doors kept clear for light. A full-height carved jaali partition screens the dining corner, where a four-seater table with cane chairs sits under a brass pendant. Folk-art paintings, framed heritage sketches and a tall brass diya complete the room.
Kitchen
A modular kitchen planned around the compact Type 1 layout, with sage-green handleless base units, white wall units and open green shelves for brass and copper jars. A patterned tile backsplash, a quartz-look counter, a chimney and a built-in oven keep it practical for everyday Indian cooking.
Master bedroom
A blue upholstered bed against a chevron-textured accent wall, a carved wooden bedside chest and a rattan floor lamp, with a full-height wardrobe along one wall. The attached toilet carries the sage green through to its vanity, with a brass-framed mirror.
Second bedroom and study
Gold-framed textile art fills the wall behind a bed dressed in a red block-print spread. A floating desk under the window makes room for work or study, and a wardrobe with open hanging space and drawers sits by the door.
Floor plan
The Godrej Splendour 2BHK Type 1 layout: about 592 sq ft of RERA carpet area, with a 15 x 10 ft living and dining room opening onto the balcony, a kitchen with a separate utility, two 10 x 10 ft bedrooms and two toilets.
Design features
Modern base, Indian layers. Plain ivory walls and clean modular joinery keep the 2BHK feeling open; jaali, block print, folk art and brass add the Indian character.
A jaali instead of a wall. The carved partition defines the dining corner and the entry while letting light and air through the compact living room.
Sage green in the kitchen and toilet. One soft colour links the kitchen shutters and the master toilet vanity, so the small home reads as one design.
A second bedroom that works as a study. A wall-mounted desk under the window takes no floor space.
Brass, cane and wood as accents. Pendants, lamps, urlis and cane chairs bring warmth without crowding the rooms.
